Course Overview

This course explores how AI-powered ideation and execution can become a powerful ally for creatives. Students will master concepting, ideation, and campaign creation, enhanced by AI tools like ChatGPT, MidJourney, 11Labs, and Runway, learning to use it as a valuable asset while maintaining crucial human insight and ethical responsibility. 

Building on Generative Design and Future Prototyping, this class will cover how to apply AI tools to ideate, develop, and execute campaigns within an integrated creative workflow, ensuring consistency and relevance wherever audiences engage.

By the course's end, students will have a repeatable framework for creating pop culture-informed AI-driven campaigns that works across agencies, brands, and freelance creative practice. 

Learning Outcomes

  • Build a campaign development process enhanced by AI from problem identification to final case film. 
  • Gain hands-on experience with ChatGPT, MidJourney, 11Labs, Runway, and AI music tools. You will use them for ideation, scriptwriting, visual execution, and final case film production.
  • Develop campaign frameworks that differentiate creative ideas in a pop culture-driven marketplace. 
  • Apply ethical guidelines when integrating AI tools into campaign creation. 
  • Form an informed point of view on the opportunities and risks of AI in creative campaign development. 
  • Design and pitch a cohesive campaign case film that integrates AI-generated assets intelligently and responsibly. 

Assessment Criteria

● 70%: Weekly ideation and development assignments (bringing multiple ideas, refining them, and building execution assets) 
● 30%: Final Case Film (integrating concept, idea, execution, visuals, voice, music, and story) 

Career Relevance

● Graduates will be equipped for roles requiring AI-enhanced creative campaign fluency, such as AI-integrated creative roles, or other strategic positions in the advertising and brand communication landscape.
